Pod Bristol offers full design assistance with your building project. Overarching; contracting architects, specialist designers, structural engineers, submitting planning applications and building regulations as well as internal design assistance, providing design mock ups of your home, space and vision.

Alternatively we can collaborate with your chosen contractors, you may have a preferred architect and only need assistance with planning or interior design or vice versa. We are flexible and happy to assist where needed.

Pod Bristol: Manage

Pod Bristol offers project management throughout the build, ensuring the budget is adhered to, the payment schedule is clear, progress is communicated and works are completed on time.

Honest discussions regarding budget, expectations and priorities at the outset enable us to manage the project to best suit your unique circumstances.

Pod Bristol can source, contract and project manage all the relevant trades (electricians, plumbers, plasterers, carpenters, decorators, gardeners etc) directly or indirectly involved in the project.

A lack of clear management and direction can often lead to delays; enabling a lack of accountability amongst different trades, unexpected price increases or no shows.

We have longstanding relationships with many trades and only work with reliable and quality people who we trust. Pod Bristol does not directly employ the tradespeople, which allows for the selection of the right trade, for the right part of the job, at the right stage. This efficiency ultimately results in; lower overall costs, removes conflicts between trades, ensures the schedule of works is delivered on time and maintains a consistency of finish across the project – all the advantages of working with a larger building firm but at a lower price.

Pod Bristol are happy to offer straight building assistance ranging from large scale double storey lofts and extensions or a simple kitchen/bathroom/other refit.

We know that projects no matter how big or small, can be stressful, and we aim to mitigate this with strong communication and maintaining good relationships with all parties involved.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and always make ourselves available to finalise any details should you not be completely satisfied with any element and provide a 2 year guarantee on our work.

My husband and I entrusted the complete refurbishment of our three-bed garden flat to Ben and the Pod Bristol team while we were in the United States.
